Mars Glass has been awarded the glazing scope on the San Francisco International Airport (SFO) Recycled Water System Project — a public-works milestone in the company's growing portfolio of civic work.

The project supports SFO's sustainability infrastructure, expanding the airport's use of recycled water to reduce demand on the region's potable supply. Mars Glass will provide the project's glazing scope as part of the broader construction effort. Learn more about the project →

Per the project’s civic design review, the program develops new water-treatment facilities near the airport’s air-cargo area — an advanced water treatment plant, sanitary and industrial wastewater plants, and a lab and administration building — designed to blend with the SFO campus through consistent masonry, considered window orientations, and drought-resistant landscaping. Recycling wastewater on site reduces demand on the region’s potable supply.
