Amir grew up in the construction industry in Iran, where his father was a residential and commercial developer. He studied architecture in Malaysia, then moved to the Bay Area for a master's in architecture and building design — discovering glazing through an internship that turned into a calling. After three years of project management, estimating, and field troubleshooting, he founded Mars Glass Company in 2022.
As the C-17 licensed qualifying individual, Amir blends an architect's eye with a contractor's discipline. He has completed the Turner Construction Management program, Clark Construction's Business Development program, the SBA THRIVE Emerging Leaders program, and the SFPUC B2B program — and was profiled by the City & County of San Francisco's Contractor Development Program in 2025.
